Shell Strenght Proof & Tightness Test

Seat Closure Tightness Test

On request we have available specific guidelines to make pressure testing.
Saval design allows swap packing without any neccesity to isolate the valve, avoiding stop a production chain or the pressure in a pipe system.
See below guidelines to replace the packing:
1 Open the valve completely in order to the handle valve be in upper position.
2 Release the bolts on the sides of the gland and remove it.
3 Remove the packing using the appropiate tool.
4 Prepare new material for the packing by cutting this mitre.
5 Place the successive packing turns ensuring that the cuts are placed at 90º in the succesive turns.
6 Replace again the gland.
